Our Boot Camps are online programs designed to challenge you and take your skills to the next level. They vary in length from 8 week intensive programs to a 9 month self-paced structure. We do not "teach to the test", but we do provide you with information readily available from RID and Boys Town and combine it with our Weekly Boot Camp Challenges. Our group Boot Camps focus heavily on peer interaction and feedback (even if there are only two participants in the program!). Our individual Boot Camps require you to be self-motivated and ready to work! Our Boot Camp participants are from all over the country and participate through various online tools and programs. We offer a variety of Boot Camps to take your skills to the next level.
Our Boot Camps are offered throughout the year (dates are listed below). If you are interested in a Boot Camp at a time it is not offered, please contact us and we can design a custom program for you (please note, any custom group Boot Camp requires a minimum of six participants). You can take a Boot Camp with other participants from around the country or you can take one by yourself, the choice is yours! Boot Camps are ACET approved for CEUs and sponsored by the CATIE Center at St. Catherine's University.
We partner with Sign Language Specialists (SLS) for practice videos and for specialized mock tests!

**NEW PROGRAM**
The K-12 Skill Enhancement Series (for Districts or Individuals)
This program was custom designed for school districts to provide ongoing development to their interpreters throughout the school year. Interpreters in your school district will be challenged to improve their skills throughout the school year through our online curriculum. Interpreters will focus on skill development in the areas of sign-to-voice, voice-to-sign, vocabulary challenges, as well as ethical decision making skills specifically addressing an educational setting.
Program Cost: Negotiated per district; also available to individuals interested ~ please contact us for details
Dates Offered: Program will run the course of the school year; beginning in September and continues through May. We will design our program to your specific needs, please email for more details.

Eight Week Boot Camps
Eight Week Boot Camps
This program will help you prepare for the NAD-RID National Interpreter Certification Knowledge Test. Your challenges will focus on the 10 tasks identified by RID. Each week you will research different areas of our field and apply your knowledge through weekly challenges. CEUs are not offered for this Boot Camp.

Certification Prep Boot Camp (for Performance Exams)
This Boot Camp is intended to prepare participants for performance certification exams (may it be NIC, BEI, State Certification, etc). This program involves videotaping your interpreting work (both signing and voicing) every week and sharing it with your fellow participants in addition to analyzing ethical scenarios. You will analyze your work like never before. Your weekly challenges will average between 5-10 hours of work.
Program Cost: $250.00 for 8 weeks of prep!

Did you just graduate from an interpreter training program? This Boot Camp is designed to help you transition from the school setting to that of a working sign language interpreter. Your weekly challenges will each focus on a different aspect of our field. You will videotape your work every week and work with your peers. You will also be developing your professional invoice, business cards, resume, professional etiquette and much more! CEUs are not offered for this Boot Camp.
Program Cost: $150.00 for 8 weeks of fun!

Summer Skills Maintenance
This program is specifically designed for working interpreters who find themselves interpreting less during the summer and would like to maintain (and grow) their skills. You will work with other interpreters from around the country via this online program and together you will challenge your skills! You will work on both sign-to-voice and voice-to-sign skills as well as improve your peer mentoring/teaming skills.
